Life is Like a Beach

When you practice mindfulness, life is like a beach. Always beautiful. Always magical. I believe this to be the truth, and I’m excited to share this message with you and explain why I think being mindful is so important. Even if you don’t particularly like the beach, you get the idea, it’s a place people go to relax, hang out with friends and family, soak up the sun, take a nap and play in the water. Whether it’s a beautiful summer day or a dramatic evening sunset, the serenity of the beach can be breathtaking. Instead of waiting for a nice summer day to feel this happiness (especially those of you who live in a cold climate), start practicing this mindset today so you ensure every day from here on out is like a beach.

I’m not saying life is always going to be easy, I’m saying that it’s important to remain present and not get too caught up with the past or what the future might hold. Enjoy where you are right now, and remember, if you don’t like it, you have the power to change it, right now. Mindfulness allows your thoughts to exist without judgment and remain fluid, always open to whatever might come at you next and accepting whatever it is for what it is. The power does not lie without. The power lies within you. You just have to know that you deserve it—happiness, peace, love, and joy. Are you at the beach today? I am and it’s pretty fantastic.
